We can also make external cover from the fabric of your liking or prefer that you have gotten from retail store or fabric online store. We will only charge you for a reasonable stitching fee, Velcro used, return shipping cost if applicable.
These type of external covers will definitely help to hinder bed padding from getting moist or wet. It can also block soil matter or dog scent from accumulating inside the padding.
The XL-50"x32"x5" cover uses Velcro as cover fastener instead of conventional zipper that tends to break after few months of use. Therefore, our Velcro external covers are considerably durable and can last many years of use under proper care. However, it is not tear-proof.
Cover/s is neither machine wash-able nor machine dry-able. For longer durability, you can soak cover in warm water bucket with detergent for overnight. Rinse it, and later hand-wash or use soft plastic brush. Lastly, hang up drying. Due to its vinyl coating, the interior side of the cover has to be folded inside out to dry.
This item only consists of one external cover without any bed padding or stuffing. It is size customize-able to fit into your dog crate or kennel - please contact me first before placing a custom size cover order. I do need to know about your desire custom size cover to see if I can make the cover or not. There will be a $2 custom size fee per cover for trimming standard cover sizes. Higher custom size fee is applicable for complicated or larger custom size cover.

Most conservative way (recommended) of drying is by hang up drying the interior side of cover first and then, flip out and hang up drying the exterior side of the cover before using it onto the dog bed.
It is advised to fold your bed padding into U or V shape when inserting/removing the padding into/from this cover.
